Coliseum is proud to have supported Matexi in its flagship “Chartreux” project, located in Brussels’ historical city centre. Ahead of the renovation, we carried out an ambitious selective deconstruction operation, focused on recovering as much of the material as possible.
What did we achieve? 5,000 m² of false ceilings, 5,000 m² of carpet tiles and 3,000 m² of carefully deconstructed raised access flooring.
🎯 80% was reused through channels offering high added value, and the 20% that wasn’t reused has been sent to innovative recycling facilities.
✅ All this with no negative impact on the project’s budget!
A perfect example of how circularity isn’t just possible, it can even be profitable and help support the future of the building.
