Since its founding in 2012, Réconfort+, a cooperative based in Brussels, has distinguished itself in the field of eco-renovation. In 2023, their international reach expanded with the establishment of Réconfort+ in France, in the Gers department, in Midi-Pyrénées (formerly Gascony).
The main objective is to rehabilitate old buildings by creating modern and comfortable living spaces that enhance the well-being of residents while stimulating local development.
This current project aims to completely transform an old house deemed uninhabitable into a sustainable dwelling. The primary goal is to revitalize the property using sustainable methods and materials, while adhering to environmental and energy standards.
To preserve authenticity, Réconfort+FR opts for a renovation that respects traditional architecture, retaining the exposed stones and wooden beams while harmoniously integrating contemporary design elements. Started in March 2024, this project is committed to exceptionally transforming this Gascon property in the heart of the countryside, giving it a new life.
