The client’s dream was to build a treehouse.
This eco‑constructed home is nestled at the heart of a green block, in a former orchard, and leans against an existing gable wall. Open to nature through a large glazed façade, it offers full immersion in the surrounding landscape. Designed with respect for its environment, its wooden structure is demountable and recyclable, and rests on a shell-based raft foundation that limits its impact on the ground.
With no basement or attic, its volume has been optimized to promote a simple way of living. It was designed according to bioclimatic principles and incorporates sustainable solutions to minimize energy consumption as much as possible.
Its design was based on a fully collaborative process from start to finish among all stakeholders.
A total of 150 m² of pleasant, airy, bright, and respectful living spaces, closely connected to the environment. A truly modern home, striking a balance between nature, technology, and sustainability.
