WANIT is a Green/Deeptech startup that develops, manufactures and markets photovoltaic self-consumption solutions.
WANIT’s promise is to reduce the energy bill for hot water production by up to 85% for a relatively limited initial investment.
The first range of products developed by WANIT consists of intelligent hybrid water heaters connected to a few photovoltaic panels. Water heaters are extremely compact, low-maintenance, easy to install and require no certification or other administrative paperwork. The WANIT solution is much more than a water heater – it can also be connected to a small battery for domestic electrical needs, in self-consumption mode too.
The characteristics of WANIT solutions give them many advantages over heat pumps and solar thermal water heaters.
WANIT’s stated ambition is to become the benchmark in renovation, leaving conventional electric boilers in the dust.
WANIT is also developing a new product, a satellite boiler. This new product will deliver solar-heated water to kitchen sinks and remote sinks not connected to a hot water pipe, thus avoiding hot water loops and energy-consuming tapping points. Last but not least, this module will be able to control a variable-flow, low-energy water circulator, so it can be added to any existing domestic water storage tank.
