We design sustainable projects, in the broadest sense of the word, that have the maximum positive impact in all areas.
Three key concepts, all essential for intrinsically sustainable buildings, form the core of our vision: ‘heritage’, ‘community’ and ‘human scale’.
‘Heritage’ – which is often used to describe monuments, but should be perceived more broadly as ‘what we inherit from the context’ – refers to what defines a building or a place. A project is part of an ongoing historical process and must make a significant contribution (socially and environmentally), today and for future generations. ‘Community’ is about creating with and for the current and future community, users and residents. ‘Human scale’ is a reference to the way in which individuals perceive and interact with space, an essential factor in their physical and mental well-being.
This vision is reflected in three types of project, each essential to sustainable urban development: future-oriented redevelopments and transformations, innovative and collective residential projects, and spatial renovations of urban housing.
