Metaforma Architecture is an architectural firm created in 2005. It is the fruit of Salvo Lo Castro’s professional experience. It is a result of his desire to express the findings of his ongoing research in the field of contemporary architectonic culture.
Since 2008, he has maintained a humanistic approach and actively explores the field of sustainable development. This orientation is related to the need for architecture to exist beyond its own form, as a pure functional or aesthetic creation. Transcending form in a free and innovative way, with special attention on materials like the “surface” of the material used is the basis for the research carried out by Metaforma Architettura.
Salvo Lo Castro is an architect specialised in sustainable construction projects. His goal is to promote buildings which respect environmental rules thanks to a better use of insulation and the streamlined use of energy and renewable energies.
