Louis De Waele Construction has nearly 300 employees and an in-house consulting unit for structural engineering and special techniques, a design office, and scheduling, safety, health and environmental units. A warehouse in Machelen provides the company with all of the materials and equipment needed to carry out its projects.
Each project is reviewed by the design & submissions department to fully understand the technical, budget and deadline challenges from the start of the project. The organisation set up on site includes a site manager, and one or more technicians and project leads, all reporting directly to a Construction Manager.
The company has its own workers and, if necessary, hires subcontractors. The workers and any subcontractors are coordinated by the site management team.
