FP Architecture was founded in Brussels by two associated architects. The majority of its projects are designed in a sustainable way. Taking occupants’ needs into account integrates well with the building’s energy performance, the use of renewable energies and co-generation.
Research into the establishment, orientation and compactness of the building also plays a fundamental role. The choice of materials enables thermal, hygrometric and acoustic efficiency to be achieved, whilst also taking into account their environmental performance. Lastly, the use of techniques such as green roofs or tanks to collect rainwater complements the sustainable and “low-tech” approach, which makes it easier for users to manage the buildings.
FP Architecture participates in a number of public and competitive calls for projects and has designed commercial buildings as well as residential housing. The firm is also aimed at private contracting authorities for construction, renovation and extension projects with a focus on respect for the environment, whilst taking into account the economics of a project.
