DRTB is a general contractor active in construction, renovation and maintenance. Its manager is concerned about the ecological impact of buildings and the evolution of energy costs and has been implementing sustainable construction and technical processes for the past 20 years.
In terms of eco-construction, DRTB offers wood and combined wood and steel frames, high-performance sand-lime bricks, the use of sustainable construction, insulation and finishing materials, the installation of controlled mechanical ventilation systems, the installation of individual waste water treatment systems, the installation and repair of green roofs (water-proofing and insulation) and the installation of systems to collect and reuse rain water.
The staff is motivated by sustainable construction and stays up-to-date on all new techniques. In exchange, DRTB guarantees working conditions and a salary in line with Belgian legislations and joint committee 124.
DRTB received the Construction Quality Label in 2013.
