citydev.brussels is an autonomous public organisation created in 1974. It is responsible for shaping urban development in the Brussels-Capital Region via real estate projects.
citydev.brussels promotes the economic expansion of the BCR by welcoming and retaining companies. To do so, citydev.brussels provides them with quality real estate infrastructure, which can host at every step of their development.
citydev.brussels currently provides access to nearly 192 ha of industrial land and SME parks at 45 sites, to 60,000 m2 of premises, to eight corporate centres and to four incubators.
citydev.brussels has been building new housing since 1988, partially subsidised by the BCR and intended for residents with moderate financial means. As a regional operator, citydev.brussels is also involved in building complex projects, which combine the production of different types of housing, economic activities, shops, public spaces, collective facilities and everything that can reconnect and boost a city or neighbourhood.
