Bio-Construction was founded at the initiative of a construction professional. Completely immersed in an ecological and environmental approach, the entrepreneur/manager of the company specialises in the eco-renovation of old and contemporary buildings and of buildings with heritage value.
The environmental renovation projects are managed from start to finish, in partnership with a dozen independent partners. The insulation, wall and floor covering and painting work is carried out personally by Bio-Construction’s entrepreneur.
All of the ecological requirements of the contracting authorities are met: work is carried out exclusively with healthy recyclable or biodegradable eco-materials, whose production and transport are less energy hungry. Insulation made from recycled wood, coatings made from natural plaster, lime, clay, and natural paints are used most often. Bio-construction’s work generally involves the renovation of private and public housing and service industry buildings. Measures are taken to sustainably manage worksite waste. Special care is taken with respect to recycling and the recovery of worksite and workshop materials.
