Based in Brussels, ACRUMA specializes in ecological renovation and construction using earth (raw, unfired clay). Founded in 2022 by Arianna Fabrizi de’ Biani, the company supports architects, contractors, and private clients in the application of natural plasters (clay, lime) and the renovation of existing heritage buildings.
With an approach focused on healthy, local, and bio-based materials, the aim is to reduce the carbon footprint of buildings and ensure a healthy indoor environment. By combining traditional know-how with contemporary techniques, I work on both heritage restoration projects and sustainable new constructions, while also offering decorative techniques such as sgraffito.
ACRUMA places people and knowledge-sharing at the heart of its activities. In addition to construction sites, Arianna also works as a trainer in training centers in France and Belgium, as well as on participatory building sites and international workshops.
Another objective of ACRUMA is to increase the presence of women in the construction sector through practical training, participatory workshops, and artistic projects.
