The Turkey-Eu business forum 2025

With EU-Türkiye relations a cornerstone of regional stability and prosperity for over six decades, this conference, hosted by The Permanent Delegation of Türkiye to the EU alongside Forum Europe comes at a pivotal moment to examine how both partners can renew and strengthen their economic ties in the face of global transformation.

The EU has launched a renewed and urgent drive to bolster its competitiveness, strengthening its Single Market and industrial base to thrive in the green and digital transitions.

Concurrently, Türkiye is pursuing a comprehensive transformation agenda. Its 12th Development Plan (2024-2028) and Green Deal Action Plan prioritise a “twin transition” to a green and digital economy, aiming to develop competitive, high-value-added industries. With ambitious 2035 targets to significantly expand renewable energy capacity and a 2053 net-zero goal, Türkiye’s national strategy shows a clear parallel commitment to sustainable growth and industrial modernisation.

This Forum provides a critical platform where these complementary strategic agendas can converge. It will explore how a deeper EU-Türkiye partnership can build sustainable and resilient value chains, turning shared challenges into mutual economic dynamism.
