Natura Mater: Summer School

18/08/26

About

Few building professionals still need convincing of the sustainable transition. And few are not already engaged in some way with CO2, reuse or circular construction. But how do you turn ambitions into actual practice? Which materials are available today, and how do you tell ecological facts from fables? What about technical properties, applicability, scalability, certification, and above all: cost?

This summer, together with our experts, you’ll discover the full spectrum of low-impact building methods, from structure and foundations all the way to the interior fit-out. Across 8 thematic sessions you discover what goes on behind various production processes, which materials you can already use today, how we deal with technical or practical challenges and what opportunities exist to not only control your building cost, but sometimes even reduce it.

Throughout the sessions, physical mock-ups and our proven hands-on teaching style create a dynamic and interactive learning environment, where conversation and exchange take centre stage. The courses combine essential theory with extensive practical examples, and the technical depth of the sessions is tailored to the audience present.

Our Summer School is especially ideal for professionals with some experience who would like to shift up a gear, and for those who want to critically examine the current developments around sustainable construction.
