For this sixth edition of Building for Health, it seemed essential to place artificial intelligence at the heart of our thinking. Because while technology is profoundly transforming the world of healthcare, we must not forget that care is above all a human endeavour.
By exploring how the most advanced innovations can be used to benefit patients and caregivers. By integrating these cutting-edge technologies into the design and equipment of healthcare facilities, we have the opportunity to rethink our healthcare spaces to promote a more humane, personalised and efficient form of medicine.
With this in mind, Professor Koen Kas will invite us to imagine what a redesign of the healthcare system ‘from a blank page’ might look like. By shifting from a sickcare mindset to a proactive approach to health, he will show how this radical transformation can reshape our buildings and cities, making architecture a true catalyst for vitality, prevention and happy longevity.
This meeting will once again be a privileged forum for exchange between building designers and players in the medical world, enabling them to imagine together the healthcare facilities of tomorrow.
