On Friday 1 September, after a morning of national draught that almost forced us to cancel our annual event, the sun – our best ally on this occasion – finally deigned to show its face throughout the afternoon. The 90 brave ecobuilders (record broken!) who took part in this year’s event were delighted to discover, in the sunshine, no fewer than 12 sites and businesses scattered along both sides of the canal, between Les Abbatoirs in Anderlecht and Recyclart in Molenbeek.
MICROFACTORY, BATITERRE, RECYCLART FABRIK, BEL ALBATROS, OPLA and BIGH opened their doors to welcome groups of ten or so curious people keen to learn more about the expertise and sustainable vocations of each of them.
After reaching the courtyard of the SONIAN WOOD COOP transformed into a guinguette for the occasion, participants were able to continue their discussions and renew contacts, while enjoying the last days of summer to the rhythm of some lively jazzy music.
What a great way to get back into the swing of things after the holidays!
